DAY 1: Transfer IN | Tababela Airport | hotel

DAY 2: QUITO | Complete City tour | Middle of the World | Departure from your hotel, (schedule to be confirmed) 8h30 from QUITO TICKET CENTER located in Cordero Street E4-311 and Amazonas Avenue, visit to the Historic Centre, declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity for being the largest of America and best preserved, walk through the Basilica, Main Plaza, Government Palace, La Compañia de Jesús Church, and convent of San Francisco, followed Panecillo Lookout, stop in the Rosa Zone, and time for lunch, will be given discount coupons. 14h30 departure to the middle of the world, Latitude 0-0-0, we will also visit the “Intiñan” Museum and in the afternoon will be back to the TICKET CENTER, then to the associated hotels.

DAY 3: OTAVALO | Ecuador Travel adventure, departs from your hotel to the north and visit to “Plaza de Ponchos” in the handicrafts and textiles market of Otavalo, we will also visit Cotacachi and it articles of leather stores,along the tour enjoy the andes lanscapes like San Pablo lake also Imbabura and Cayambe volcanoes, It’s practically a shopping tour with a lot of folklore. If the weather permits you could visit the waterfall or the town of Peguche in a short walk. Also you can´t miss the Cayambe biscuits and the sheet cheese; return to Quito. In a 2 days Tour will be add an aditional night accommodation including breakfast and dinner, we suggest 2 spectacular hotels: A big Farm transformed into a Lodge or in Puerto Lago a unique place. The next day Ibarra visit and option to make the Train in “The Route of Freedom” (ticket not included).

DAY 4: BAÑOS | 7h00 am Departure from Quito to Baños with a 3 hours trip, it dependeds on the weather if we could see the volcanoes and Snowy as The Cotopaxi, Antisana and Tunguragua, stop in Pelileo “The Jeans City” or in the “Salasaca” Community. Once there in Baños Tarabita cross by the “Agoyan ” waterfall or “Bride’s mantle” on the “Pastaza” river, walking on the walterfall called “Devil’s Pail”. Lunch in the Baños City and walking across the Historic Centre visiting the sanctuary of the “Agua Santa” virgin, return to Quito at 19h00 approximately.

DAY 5: Arrive at BALTRA | Transfer to PTO. AYORA | Highlands | Charles Darwin Station | This is the first day in Galapagos of our Ecuador Travel tour, you can arrive to the Galapagos only by flight, and from either Quito or Guayaquil (air ticket not included). In all of The Wooden House Lodge, Galapagos and Isabela island tours, our English speaking guide will be waiting for you at the airport in Baltra, who will then take you to Highlands, here we will have the unforgettable opportunity to observe the famous Giant Tortoises in their natural environment, which also known as Galapagos, and it is from these wonderful creatures which the Islands derive their name. We will also be able to see the famous Galapagos Finches, Bird Wizards, as well as endemic vegetation such as Scalecias forests and Matazarnos. After our incredible encounter with the Giant Tortoises, we will return to Puerto Ayora for lunch.

Afterwards, we visit the Charles Darwin Station. Here, we learn about the ongoing conservation efforts on these Enchanted Islands. The Research Station rears endemic Galapagos plants, land iguanas, and Giant Galapagos Tortoises for educational, scientific and conservation purposes.

DAY 6: MINI CRUISE – AROUND SANTA CRUZ | This day you will take a boat ride to one of the following destinations (destination subject to availability):
• Santa Fé Island
• South Plaza Island
• North Seymour Island
• Bartholomew Island

DAY 7: SANTA CRUZ |ISABELA ISLAND|Concha Perla|Tintoreras Islet| Early in the morning (6:40 am), we will prepare ourselves to take the Public speedboat to Isabela (07:00), the most bigger and young of the Galapagos islands, which lasts approximately two and a half hours. After arriving at Isabela, we will transfer to the hotel. After a brief rest at the hotel, you will visit Concha de Perla lagoon, where you can swim with sea lions, colorful varieties of fish, and with luck sea turtles. Return to hotel for lunch.

Afterwards we will prepare ourselves for the visit to Tintoreras Islet, for which we will make our way to the dock of Puerto Villamil in order to embark on small speedboats that have a capacity of 12 passengers each. After a short ride (appx. 20 min.) we will arrive at Tintoreras Islet. The name of the islet derives from the sharks that live in the waters surrounding the islet that have whit-tipped fins, which are known as “Tintoreras”. The islet is one of the most fascinating places on our Ecuador Travel tour. In this one area we can see sea lions, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, Sally Lightfoot Crabs, sea turtles, pelicans, and Galapagos Penguins. As the island is one of the main breeding sites for the marine iguanas, it is an excellent place to see numerous amounts of these creatures close-up. After the hike through the islet, we will get back on the boat and cool off by snorkeling in the waters nearby, where we can see multicolor fish, starfish, sea-urchins, and with luck manta rays, sharks, and sea lions that may swim closely with us. After this fascinating experience we will return to the hotel to rest until dinner.

DAY 8: ISABELA ISLAND | Snorkel Day Tour to Cape Rose Tunnels or Turtle Island or 4 Hermanos | Biking Time | This island has unique sea fauna there fore we organized the eighth day of this Ecuador travel adventure, with a complete snorkel day, so early in the morning (8:00 am), after breakfast, we will prepare ourselves for Snorkeling Daily Tour to one of the following destinations:
• Tunnels – Cape Rose
• Turtle Islet
• 4 Hermanos

DAY 9: ISABELA ISLAND|Sierra Negra Volcano & Chico Volcano| Early in the morning (8:00 am), after breakfast, we will prepare ourselves for the Sierra Negra Volcano hike, this volcano crater is the second largest of the world, so here you will see the most spectacular views, be prepared to these day of our Ecuador Travel tour, by putting on comfortable walking shoes and possibly a rain jacket, making sure our cameras are stored in waterproof bags, making sure to bring sunscreen, water, and hats, and finally by preparing our box lunch at the hotel to take with us. We will then travel approximately 45 minutes by truck or bus to begin the 12 km hike (appx. 3 hours). The hike is long in terms of distance, but not very difficult as the inclines and declines are quite gradual. Sierra Negra Volcano has the second largest crater in the world, measuring approximately 6 miles in diameter and 300 feet deep. We will reach Volcan Chico before heading back, which should provide a spectacular view of the incredible moonlike terrain.

In the afternoon you will have time to rest and enjoy the beach. You will have dinner at the hotel.

DAY 10: Transfer OUT from ISABELA to SANTA CRUZ Island to QUITO | This is the last day in Galapagos islands of our Ecuador Travel adventure, So at 5:00 a.m. we will prepare ourselves to go to the dock (wake-up at 4:30 AM). We will take the public speedboat, which leaves at 6:00 a.m. (subject to change), From Isabela to Puerto Ayora (2 hour and a half estimated travel time).

Upon arrival, a driver will be waiting for you to transfer from Puerto Ayora to Baltra Airport, where you will catch your return flight to Quito.

Depending on the time of the flights, in the last day of everyone Galapagos and isabela island tours, we may be able to visit two sunken “holes”, similar to craters, known as “Los Gemelos”. (For this reason we recommend booking your return flight for the afternoon). These craters were formed by the collapse of the earth beneath which lava had passed and created giant tunnels, which facilitated the collapse and creation of the craters.

DAY 11: COTOPAXI | Visit to Cotopaxi National Park, located 44 miles from the south-west of Quito, we will begin the tour walking around the “Limpiopungo” Lagoon to a birdwatching beautiful stop and wild horses then
You will hike to the shelter 2,7 masl and feel the andes snow with a lot of nature around us. At the return stop at Hostería La Cienega, historic Ranch visited by Wolf on the XIX century; where we suggest the lunch. We recommend you to make this TOUR also by bicicle.
